Bechem United star Hafiz Konkoni ruled out for several weeks

Bechem United starman Hafiz Wontah Konkoni has been ruled out of action for several weeks after sustaining a fracture of the left arm injury.

The club has confirmed on Thursday that Konkoni will be out of action between 6-7 weeks.

The striker was rushed to Bechem Government Hospital on Wednesday after he clashed with Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match-day 24 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem.

Hafiz Konkoni – who has scored 8 goals in this campaign – could probably not return to feature again for Bechem United with just 10 matches left to end the season.

Bechem United are 9th on the league table with 33 points and are in contention for a top four slot although they are 7 points adrift.

The Hunters have next on their schedule, a trip to Techiman to play struggling King Faisal at the Ohene Amayaw Park on match-top-four-day 25.
