‘Bechem can never be moved from second position’ – Coach Mingle

Bechem United Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey insists the 47 points rich Hunters can never lose the second spot in the Ghana Premier League to any club, despite the hot chase from third placed Hearts of Oak, who are just 3 points adrift with 44 points.
To complete a second place finish by the close of the season, Bechem United need to recover from their poor string of results recorded since April 17, when the Hunters lost 2-3 at struggling Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Bechem United is currently without a win in its last four GPL games after recording 3 draws and 1 defeat. In spite of the recent disappointment, Bechem United has managed to protect its unbeaten home run in the GPL, with a 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak on Saturday.
With 6 more matches for Bechem United to seal its fate in the GPL, Coach Kassim Mingle has intimated that his side is not in contention with any club over the Ghana Premier League second spot.
“We will consolidate that position. The second position. Nobody can move us from that position,” Mingle told Startimes in a post-match interview.
Bechem United will hope bounce back to winning ways when they play as guests of RTU in a GPL midweek encounter in Tamale on May 18.
