1 min read

Ashantigold SC have settled on Serbian trainer Milovan Cirkovic as the club’s new head coach ahead of 2020-21 season.

Cirkovic will replace Italian coach Roberto Landi who left the Miners a few weeks ago due to disagreement with the management of the club on his salary.

Cirkovic is expected in the country on Monday to begin his journey with four-time Ghana Premier League winners after agreeing to a two-year deal.

The 57-year-old trainer who has over thirty years experience in coaching has worked as assistant coach of Thailand from September 2017 to January 2019 under former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac.

He was also assistant manager of Serbian side Borak Cacak from January 2008 to September 2017.

Cirkovic has also managed Tanzanian giants Simba SC in 2013.
