Asante Kotoko’s Richmond Lamptey linked with move to Libyan club Al Ta’awon

Asante Kotoko midfield jewel, Richmond Lamptey, is apparently being watched by Al Ta’awon, a Libyan team.
If an agreement is made between the player and the two teams, the hot midfield player may decide to leave the Porcupine Warriors.
In the Ghana Premier League this year, Lamptey has been outstanding. He was a major contributor to Asante Kotoko’s success in the first half of the season.
The former Inter Allies player was included in Ghana’s roster for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire in 2023, but he was unable to play as the Black Stars were eliminated from the competition during the group stage.
This week, when the season’s second half gets underway, he is anticipated to join his Kotoko colleagues.
The Ghana Premier League has already lost one player to the Libyan league after Lamptey’s Black Stars teammate, Jonathan Sowah joined Al Nasr in January.
