Asante Kotoko’s IMC member Akwasi Appiah to contest GFA ExCO seat

Reports from Opemsuo Radio have exclusively revealed that Coach Akwasi Appiah is set to enter the race for the Ghana FA Executive Council Membership position, representing Asante Kotoko in the upcoming Ghana FA Elections.
The process for nominations in the forthcoming elections has been officially initiated, with candidates already acquiring their nomination forms.
As disclosed by the Kumasi-based radio station, the club’s life patron, His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, has expressed his complete endorsement and support for Coach Akwasi Appiah’s candidacy for the position.
Former Black Stars coach Akwasi Appiah is actively involved in the Interim Management Committee established by the life patron, entrusted with overseeing the club’s operations throughout the 2023/24 season.
In his role as a technical director, Appiah will have the opportunity to vie for the Executive Council position on behalf of the club.
The Ghana Football Association hereby announces the commencement of the nomination process for the upcoming 2023 Elections.
Interested individuals are requested to complete the provided forms and submit them to the GFA Secretariat no later than 5pm on Friday, August 11, 2023.
