Asante Kotoko to unveil Prosper Narteh Ogum as new head coach today

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have confirmed that former head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has returned to the club again as they unveil him Monday morning.

In 2021, the gaffer’s position as tactician for former Ghana Premier League team WAFA SC came to an end was hired to serve as head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.

He led the Reds to win the Ghana Premier League championship in his first campaign.

However, he left Kotoko after winning the league for them due to a misunderstanding between him and the then Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management.

Asante Kotoko is bringing Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum back as a result of a request from club owner Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II.

In an official communique from the Kumasi-based club on Sunday night, it said the gaffer will be unveiled as Asante Kotoko’s head coach on Monday, August 7.

The ceremony will be held in the Conference Room of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The club is scheduled to commence its preseason activities on Tuesday at Beposo in the Ashanti Region.
