Asante Kotoko will miss the services of five key players in their penultimate Ghana Premier League encounter with Bechem United on Sunday afternoon.
The players include goalkeeper Kwame Baah, Habib Mohammed, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Evans Adomako and Abdul Ganiyu.
The five players have been ruled out of the game due to various injury setbacks.
Head coach of the side Mariano Barreto will also not be at the dugout following the ban imposed on him by the Ghana Football Association.
Coach Johnson Smith will lead the team and will have to do with the available materials at his disposal.
The Reds are still keen to leapfrog rivals Hearts of Oak at the top despite 3 points separating them.
A win over Bechem United and a slip by Hearts of Oak against Liberty Professionals will keep their title chase alive.
Should they fail to win the title, the Porcupine Warriors will be bent on lifting the FA Cup trophy to make an appearance in CAF’s inter Club competition.
