Asante Kotoko provides Fabio Gama injury update ahead of Ashgold visit

Asante Kotoko Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Gama has been declared fit to feature for the side in their next Premier League game against AshantiGold SC.
This comes as a major boost for the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the tricky clash against the Miners on match-day 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Brazilian star, who has been impressive so far suffered several rough tackles in the Reds’ last game against Aduana Stars on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He was forced out of the tie in the dying minutes of the first half after clashing with goalkeeper Joseph Addo, who punched his head in an aerial tussle.
Fabio Gama on Wednesday and Thursday had full training sessions with his teammates and the club’s physiotherapist has confirmed that he can partake in the Ashanti derby on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium.
“Fabio Gama is doing alright and is fit for Sunday’s match against Ashgold, ” Samuel Ankomah revealed to club’s media.
“He was given treatment after the incident on Sunday and he has subsequently had two full training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.”
The game had played in four games for the Porcupine Warriors and has been involved in two goals.
Johnson Smith’s charges will be hoping to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 home defeat to Aduana Stars.
