Asante Kotoko ordered to pay GH¢ 197,800 to four former players or face ban

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been ordered by the Players Status Committee (PSC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to make a total payment GH¢ 197,800 to four of it former players.
The players whose names are Abass Mohammed, Mathew Kelvin Andoh, Stephen Tetteh Aryiku and Evans Owusu petitioned the PSC on the Club’s unilateral termination of their contracts.
They therefore sough for the PSC to rule on the payment of their outstanding salaries and signing on fees.
PSC after sitting on the case has now ordered Kotoko to pay a total of GH¢ 197,800 in enticement fees and salaries to the aforementioned players.
Evans Owusu will receive GH¢ 26,000 (GH¢ 20,000 enticement fee + GH¢ 6,000 salary), Stephen Tetteh Ayiku will receive GH¢ 59,000 (GH¢ 50,000 enticement fee + GH¢ 9,000 salary).
Abass Mohammed will receive GH¢ 50,800 (GH¢ 40,000 enticement fee + GH¢ 10,800 salary), whiles Mathew Kelvin Andoh will receive GH¢ 62,000 (GH¢ 50,000 enticement fee + GH¢ 12,000 salary).
The amounts are to be paid within the next 14 days.
