Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare dreams of Black Stars call up

Frederick Asare, the goalkeeper for Asante Kotoko, has expressed his ambition to play for the Ghana national team.

Asare, who joined the Ghanaian champions before the start of the season, revealed in an interview after their loss to Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday that he is striving to secure a spot in the Black Stars’ goal post.

The former Accra Lions goalkeeper has been performing remarkably for the Porcupine Warriors since his arrival.

“My dream is to play for the Black Stars someday, and I believe it’s not far-fetched,” he said. “That’s why I’m working hard, and you can see that in my current form. I’m prepared for this challenge and believe that I have a lot to contribute to the country.”
