Asante Kotoko complete the signing of four new players

Ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Asante Kotoko has bolstered their squad by acquiring the services of four new players, with the official announcement pending.

Reports from various media outlets confirm that the former Ghana Premier League champions have successfully secured the signatures of Henry Ansu, Kalo Quattara, Yahaya Dawuni, and Michael Kyei Dwamena.

Yahaya Dawuni, a sturdy defender, has inked a three-year contract with Asante Kotoko following productive negotiations. He joins the club from lower-tier side Susubiribi Sporting Club.

Former WAFA SC captain Michael Kyei Dwamena has also become a part of the team, signing a three-year agreement for the upcoming season.

Additionally, the dynamic duo from Berekum Chelsea, Henry Ansu and Kalo Quattara, have both joined the Porcupine Warriors on individual three-year contracts.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko has bid farewell to eleven players as they prepare for the 2023/24 league season.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to commence their pre-season preparations on August 8, 2023, at Beposo Park in the Ashanti Region.

Their first fixture of the 2023/24 season will see them face returnees Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
