Accra Lions teenager arrives in London to begin Chelsea FC trial

English Premier League side Chelsea FC may sign teenage star David Oduro from Ghana this month.

The gifted left-back is scheduled to start a trial with the Blues after traveling to England.

David Oduro, 17, is anticipated to train with Chelsea for two weeks.

He will be signed if he is able to make an impression on the two-time Uefa Champions League winners’ technical team.

Numerous European clubs had shown interest in the 17-year-old wonderkid before his trial with Chelsea.

He is one of the gifted athletes that Accra Lions Football Club, a team in the Ghana Premier League, trains.

Many Ghanaian players have received training from the club, which still develops players.

Accra Lions, who are currently playing in the Ghana Premier League, use talented teenagers and youngsters.

The club is 12th on the league standings this season after struggling since the start of the campaign.
