Accra Lions defeat Aduana FC in Dormaa

Accra Lions scored late to hand Aduana FC their first home defeat of the season in a match-day 12 tie of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park at Dormaa.

The Dormaa lads had gone five games without defeat and needed a win to keep hold of the top spot but Accra Lions put up a gallant display to deny them the points.

Abdul Shakun Abubakar netted in the 91st minute to silence the home crowd.

Shakun took advantage of a well delivered cross to smash home the match winner – a perfect result for the visitors and a major setback for the League leaders.
