Amid the unrelenting churn of sources, whispers and rumors’ Ghana’s Women Premier League is just some days away.
In the last few weeks, we’ve attempted to keep you posted on the happenings at the clubs as we await the commencement of the league.

A lot of players, coaches, and administrators have spoken of their respective clubs’ preparedness as the new season beckons. The latest to join the fray is Police Ladies’ player; Alberta Asante.
In an interview with Amy Fynn-Thompson as monitored by sikafotos.com, Asante was highly confident her team was well prepared and conditioned to win the title and Thunder Queens FC will be their first victims as they journey to realize their dream of annexing the title.
“As you can see we’re all set for the 2020/2021 Season. We’ve been training since the days the pandemic was at its peak, went for a brief break during the lockdown, and later resumed to continue our preparation because we’ve always been eager to win this title but always when we’re getting closer something interrupts but this season we’re set, we’re all fully jerk up for the league and we’re hoping and praying that we’ll take this title by hook or crook.” He gushed
What fans should expect from Police Ladies on their first match
“You should expect the best from us and we’re going for the win. So our fans and our neutral fans alike out there should expect nothing but the best, we’re going for the win. The 3 points are ours.”
