Kotoko are in a good state – Nana Yaw Amponsah

Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah has stated the club is in a good state despite the recent poor performance on the field.
The Porcupine Warriors are likely to drop to the Caf Confederation Cup after they lost eir CAF Champions League second preliminary round first leg match to Al-Hilal on Wednesday in Accra.
They have also sacked head coach Maxwell Konadu in the past week and are in search of his replacement.
However, Amponsah believes that the club is in good standing despite the turmoil.
“Asante Kotoko are in a good state. I have said that the phase of Kotoko will change and I am still working towards that,” he told Oyerepa FM.
“Rome was not built in a day but I know with time, we will get there. I have a mandate to complete and I am convinced will achieve our madate.”
The hardworking football administrator that his management has been able to generate GHS 12 million in sponsorships and partnerships in a spate of four months.
However, he indicated that only GHS 1.2 million have been paid into the club’s account.
