Asamoah Gyan officially appointed Ambassador for Colts and National Teams

Ex Black Stars dedicated skipper, Asamoah “Baby Jet” Gyan will henceforth play Ambassadorial role for Colts football and Ghana national teams.
This great position was conferred on him by the GFA President, Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku in Accra yesterday.
The event which was graced by dignitaries, football administrators and supporters across the length and breath of the country was to honour the football legend for his enormous contribution to Ghana Football over the years.

Asomoah Gyan holds an incredible record as the all time top scorer for Ghana Black Stars with 51 goals. He is also Africa’s top scorer at the FIFA World Cup with 6 goals.
GFA President Kurt Okraku has hinted that the post given to the former prolific striker “was not only a celebration of a legendary football career, but also a recognition of a man whose impact on Ghana football transcends goals, generations, and moments on the pitch”.
He believes “Asamoah Gyan’s legacy is deeply woven into the history of our national game, and his name will forever remain synonymous with passion, resilience, leadership, and patriotism”.
According to the hard working GFA capo, Gyan, as an Ambassador will spearhead promotional campaigns, fan engagement initiatives, and strategic corporate partnerships aimed at rallying Ghanaians behind the Black Stars while championing Colts football — the very foundation upon which the future of our game is built”.

‘He will also represent the Football Association at key engagements and help strengthen the connection between our national teams and the millions of Ghanaians who proudly support them”.
Based on his vast experience, influence and deep knowledge in the game, Kurt is optimistic Gyan will continue to inspire the next generation and positively impact the growth of Ghana Football in all angles.
