Black Stars receive GHS 5 million from GCB Bank ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup

The Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has donated a whooping GHS 5 million to the Black Stars as they gear up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The huge sums of money is to help the preparations of the Black Stars in their quest go places in the upcoming tournament.
Already, FIFA will give the Ghana Black Stars $12.5 million for their participation in 2026 World Cup.
USD 2.5 million is basically for preparations ahead of the World Cup while the additional $10M is for Black Stars participation at the group stage.
Ghana will engage Panama, England and Croatia in Group L of the 2026 FIFA World Cup starting from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
According to the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Honourable Kofi Iddi Adams, the GHS 5 million from Ghana Commercial Bank will go a long way to motivate the Black Stars players to deliver success at the FIFA Mundial.
