Carlos Queiroz to be unveiled on April 23

Newly appointed Black Stars Coach Carlos Queiroz will be officially introduced to Ghanaians on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Alisa Hotel in Accra.
The Portuguese trainer was given the Black Stars job a week ago with a four months contract.
He is expected in Ghana any moment from now ahead of the upcoming outdooring.
Carlos Queiroz, even before he steps foot into the country has already hinted of reshaping the technical staff.
Already, technical advisor Winfred Schafar has been shown the exit. It is likely more technical members will find their way out under the new leadership.
“Carlos Queiroz has proposed bringing in additional backroom staff to support his work. No final decision has been made on the current technical members as at yet”.
“The role of the additions will determine with of the current technical members to stay or otherwise” said EXCO member Frederick Acheampong.
Footydreamsgh.com has gathered that Carlos Queiroz is will be joined by his former assistant coach Roger De Sa ahead of the 2026 FIFA World.

Thursday’s formal introduction of Carlos Queiroz will also give the media a chance to interacts with the 73 year old tactician who has been to the FIFA World Cup five times with teams like South Africa, Portugal and Oman.
