Footydreamsgh.com can authoritatively report that Coach Herve Renard has been relieved of his post as head coach of the Saudi Arabian national football team.
The French Tactician will therefore be missing from the biggest stage come June 11 to July 19 when all the 48 nations gathered in USA, Canada and Mexico to battle for glory.
Herve Renard remains a household name when it comes to coaching particularly on the African continent.
In 2012 he led an average Zambian side to conquer in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and repeated similar feat with the Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire in 2015.
He made global headlines during the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup when led underdogs, Saudi Arabia to beat eventual World Cup winners Argentina 1-0 in their opening group game.
He became the target of most Ghanaians when Otto Addo was sacked as headcoach of the Black Stars.
But now that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed and given Carlos Queiroz a four months contract, Ghanaians will have to wait until after the 2026 FIFA World Cup before they can approach Herve Renard for fresh negotiations.
