Hafiz Wontah Konkoni, the former striker of Bechem United, has completed his move to the renowned Tanzanian club, Young Africans SC.

Konkoni signed a two-year contract with Young Africans SC, where he will be taking over the striker position following the departure of Fiston Kalala Mayele.

Having been chosen to fill the void left by Fiston Mayele, who moved to Egypt’s Pyramids FC, Hafiz Konkoni has now joined his new teammates at the Avic Town camp to begin preparations for the Community Shield matches and other upcoming tournaments.

Before his time with Bechem United, Hafiz played professional football for Alsancak Ye ilova and Baf Ülkü Yurdu Clubs in Northern Cyprus. He has also earned the honor of a call-up to the Black Stars, representing the Ghana national team.

During the 2022/2023 season, Hafiz Konkoni showcased his talent by playing 24 matches for Bechem United FC and impressively scoring a total of 15 goals.

Young Africans SC has been highly active in the transfer market, and Hafiz Konkoni becomes their eighth new signing for the 2023/2024 season.
