Crocked Ghana star Daniel Kofi-Kyereh provides fresh update on his recovery

Despite facing a setback in the 2022/2023 Bundesliga season, SC Freiburg attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh remains resolute and optimistic.

Having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury for the second time in his career, Kyereh’s rehabilitation journey showcases his unwavering determination.

With steady progress being made, the Ghanaian footballer confidently asserts that his recovery is on the right track, providing hints of an eventual return to the pitch for the Bundesliga side.

Kyereh expresses his gratitude towards his teammates for their gesture of wearing Kyereh shirts during the warm-up before the derby against VfB last season, describing it as a truly special moment he will never forget.

“A very special moment that I will never forget,” he says in retrospect on the club’s own TV.

“We’re right on schedule,” Kyereh says about his recovery. “It’s progressing day by day,”

In the 2022/23 Bundesliga season, Daniel Kofi Kyereh made 12 appearances and scored two goals. Recently, he completed a portion of his rehabilitation in Barcelona.

The attacker will join the team during their training camp in Schruns, Austria, from July 20th to 28th, emphasizing his commitment to the team and his ongoing recovery process.
