GPL Week 32 Wrap: Medeama maintain top spot, Legon Cities pip Hearts of Oak; RTU stun Bechem United; Olympics, Gold Stars, Nsoatreman pick wins

Legon Cities defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the El-Wak Sports Stadium to move a step closer to avoiding relegation.
The Royals scored the only goal of the game in additional minutes of the first half. Kofi Kordzi fired a low shot from outside the box pass Richard Attah.
The second half of the game wasn’t short of excitement, Hearts of Oak pushed bodies forward in search of redemption but failed to hit the back of the net, losing for the third consecutive time.
A 47th minute Charles Danso Otu goal earned Great Olympics a 1-0 win against Accra Lions at the Sogakope RedBull Arena.
Real Tamale United (RTU) scored two late goals to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium. Hafiz Konkoni gave Bechem United the lead in the 14th minute, before Mohammed Sadat and Steven Danquah Badu scored in additional time to win the game for RTU.
Abednego Tetteh scored a brace to help Bibiani GoldStars beat Kotoku Royals 3-1. Prince Owusu Kwabena scored the other goal for GoldStars while Collins Kudjoe got Kotoku Royals’ goal. The brace sees Abednego Tetteh increase his goal tally to 16, 1 more than Hafiz Konkoni.
In Berekum, Berekum Chelsea lost for the first time at home this season, losing 2-1 to Nsoatreman. Samuel Ofori scored a brace for Nsoatreman, while Patrick Asiedu scored the consolation goal for Chelsea.
Dreams FC defeated Aduana FC 1-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park to dent their hopes of winning the betPawa Premier League. Ali Huzaif scored the goal in the 54th minute, heading home a sweet delivery from a free-kick taken by Eric Danso Boateng.
At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale City defeated Samartex’s 1-0 to move closer to avoiding the drop, Mohammed Yahaya scored the only goal of the game in the 11th minute.
On Friday, Medeama came from a goal down to beat King Faisal 2-1. Skipper Samuel Kusi’s volley from way out gave King Faisal the lead in the 10th minute.
Medeama drew level in the 20th minute through a towering header from Nurudeen Abdulai, before scoring the winner in the 67th minute through Joshua Agyemang.
On Monday, Asante Kotoko will take on Karela United at the Baba Sports Stadium in what will be the final game of the round.
