U23 AFCON Q: Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko announces final 26-man squad for Algeria clash

Ibrahim Tanko, the Head Coach of Ghana’s U23 team, has revealed the list of 26 players who will represent the nation in the 2023 CAF U23 Championship qualifying match against Algeria.

The Black Meteors are scheduled to leave for Algeria on Wednesday evening for the first leg of the match, which will take place at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba.

The team conducted their training session on Wednesday morning before embarking on their journey to Annaba.

Ghana’s objective is to progress to the U23 Championship and compete for a spot in the upcoming Olympic Games set to be held in Paris.

If Ghana secures a victory in the two-legged tie, they will secure their place in the tournament, which is slated to occur from 24 June to 8 July 2023.
