Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko to face Nigerian champions Rivers United in preseason friendly

Asante Kotoko as part of their preseason programs will take on Nigerian champions, Rivers United in Turkey next month, according to Stryker of Oyerepa Sports.

The Porcupines will spend two weeks in the European country preparing for the defence of the title they won last season and the African campaign. The team will leave Ghana on August 14, 2022 and will be in Turkey from 15 August till August 30.

Asante Kotoko will play series of friendlies against some Turkish clubs and the Nigerian champions who will also be camping in the Southeast European nation before returning to Ghana for the start of the league in September.

The trip is sponsored by City Gates and they will soon announce juicy packages for Kotoko fans who want to join the team for preseason.
