Black Stars defender Andy Yiadom has been named in an updated 34-man Black Stars squad published on the GFA website for Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Reading FC right-back was not originally listed in the 33-man squad released last Thursday but is now part of a 9-man defence department for the AFCON qualifiers and the Kirin Cup friendly tourney in Japan.

The 30-year-old is expected to join the 28 other players in camp, who commenced gym work and field training in Cape Coast on Sunday for the upcoming continental qualifiers against Madagascar on June 1 and Central African Republic on June 5.
Yiadom, who has so far made 19 appearances for Ghana, featured prominently for Reading this season, scoring one goal in 38 English Championship appearances.
