Hearts of Oak icon Dong Bortey raves about Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh

Former Hearts of Oak star Bernard Dong Bortey has lauded head coach of Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh Ogum for his great impact at the club.
Ogum, who joined Kotoko before the start of the current season has guided the Porcupines to the top of the league table with 37 points after 17 matches played so far.
The Porcupines, under the guidance of the former WAFA gaffer after the first round recorded 11 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats with 26 goals scored and conceded 10.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Bortey, who is now into coaching eulogized the former WAFA coach, describing him as a great coach in the country.
“I have followed the league and I think Asante Kotoko is doing well because they had a good preparation. Prosper Narteh has proven he is a great coach. He has gotten the materials at Kotoko and has been able to make good use of it, so I will congratulate him”
“I don’t even remember the last time a club accumulated such points in first round. It happened during our time with Hearts of oak, so let see if Ogum and Kotoko can break it”
Asante Kotoko will next host Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday 18 fixture on Sunday before taking on Hearts of Oak the following Friday in the 2022 President’s Cup in Kumasi.
