INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY: We Are Not Worried About The Results, Our Focus Is On The World Cup Qualifiers – Andre Ayew Vows

The Skipper of the Black Stars has postulated that the team is not worried about the results they garnered despite failing to win at home against the Elephants of La Côte d’Ivoire since it’s a friendly encounter.
Skipper of the Senior National team André Ayew believes the concentration should not be on their goalless draw game against Ivory Coast since the game was a friendly one.
The Black Stars succumbed to the Atlas Lions of Morocco by 1-0 in their first game in Rabat, Morocco, before drawing to Ivory Coast yesterday at the Cape Coast stadium in Ghana however, Ayew says much attention should not be paid to the results because there is a world cup qualifies ahead which is more competitive for the team to work on how to deal with it.
“I think this [Ivory Coast game] was a different sort of game and it was a friendly coming up. Andre Ayew posited.
We know what’s ahead of us, some of us have played a lot of qualification games and we know what’s ahead and we will be ready, we are not worried.
We would have wanted to win the two games but we are not worried.” Ayew added.
Ghana will play their first game against Ethiopia in the world cup qualifies in September later this year.
