EPL giants Liverpool favourite to sign Abdul Fatawu Issahaku after failed move to Bayer Leverkusen

English Premier League giants Liverpool are favourite to secure the services of Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku following his failed move to German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
The Afcon U-20 best player on Tuesday arrived in Germany to seal a move to Leverkusen.
He was accompanied by agent Peter Obiora Ejiasi and a representative of lower-tier side Steadfast FC.
However, Leverkusen have decided NOT to sign Fatawu Issahaku due to ‘dubious behaviour on the part of his advisors’
According to Kicker, Leverkusen found out that the player’s advisor was dealing with other clubs during negotiations, and have decided not to move forward with the deal.
The agent Peter Obiora Ejiasi has been accused of hawking the player to other clubs like Liverpool after they had arrived in Germany to seal the deal.
The controversial agent is also said to be angling for other options which forced the German side to pull out of the deal sensing the controversies and lack of trust that might surround the talented player’s career.
Liverpool have shown strong interest and currently leading the race to sign the talented youngster following his failed move to Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds are preparing a bid to sign the 17-year-old in the summer transfer window, according to a report by Goal.com
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been impressive for his club Steadfast FC in the ongoing National Division One League and is the only player from the lower-division to be invited to the Black Stars ahead of next month international friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast.
The left winger is also on the radar of a lot of European clubs that are battling for his signature.
Abdul Fatawu is a huge prospect due to his talent but the youngster still 17 years will not be eligible to sign a professional contract until he turns 18 on March 2022.
