The Ghana international has finally been unveiled by Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the signing of Ghana international Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.

The 24-year-old forward has agreed a long-term contract with the North London side and will wear the number 20 jersey, the club announced on Thursday evening.

The move is subject to the completion of a work permit.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United,” said the club in a statement confirming the deal.

Kudus arrives at Spurs after a two-year spell at West Ham, where he scored 19 goals in 80 appearances across all competitions. His standout performances included a solo strike against SC Freiburg, which earned him West Ham’s Goal of the Season award and a Fifa Puskás Award nomination.

The playmaker began his professional career with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark after graduating from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. He later joined Dutch giants Ajax, where he won multiple Eredivisie titles and gained Uefa Champions League experience.

Kudus becomes the latest addition to Tottenham’s squad for the 2025/26 campaign and is expected to bring attacking flair, versatility, and creativity under new head coach Thomas Frank.

On the international stage, Kudus has earned 42 caps for Ghana and has scored 12 goals since making his debut in 2019. He featured at both the 2022 Fifa World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
