2023 Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools boys soccer qualifiers postponed

The preliminary round of this year’s competition was initially scheduled to commence on Monday, June 26. However, due to circumstances beyond their control, as stated in their official statement, the organizers have decided to shift the dates.
The qualifiers consist of 32 groups, each containing a minimum of three teams and a maximum of four teams. The winners from these qualifiers will earn a spot in the main competition, which is likely to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The revised schedule for the qualifiers will now begin on June 29 and run until July 4. Along with the new dates, a fresh draw will be conducted to determine the group stages.
In the previous edition of the competition, Kumasi High School emerged as champions with a 2-0 victory over Adu Gyamfi SHS in the final.
The most recent competition, held last year, featured a final clash between T.I Ahmadiyyah SHS, Kumasi, and Opoku Ware SHS. However, the tournament was subsequently declared null and void before reaching its conclusion.
