Tariq Lamptey is buoyant that Black Stars will get a positive result against South Korea on Monday.
Ghana began the 2022 FIFA World Cup on a losing note as they were beaten 3-2 by Portugal in their first group game.
The Brighton and Hove Albion left-back granted an interview with head of Communication at the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
He told Henry Twum Asante that the team took many positives from the first game and looking to improve in the second Group H game.
“There were positives in the last game that we have to build upon. We’ve been training well and working tightly together as a group and listening to what the coach has to say and we’re looking to bring that out in the next game.
Despite playing a South Korean team that could pose trouble for any side, Lamptey is confident of getting a win.
“We are confident we can get a positive result” he stated.
South Korea drew with Uruguay and will play the Black Stars on Monday, 28th November 2022 at 1 PM local time.
