2022/23 DOL Day 4: Young Apostles make it four wins out of four, Nkoranza Warriors deepen Arsenal’s woes as Nations FC hold New Edubiase United

Match-day 4 of the 2022/23 Ghana Division One League commenced on Saturday afternoon with some intriguing action across the venues.


The Young Apostles continued their impressive performance in the ongoing league by picking up their fourth straight win in four matches.

Abdul Hakim Mohammed’s 7th minute strike earned all three points for Young Apostles against Baffour Academy at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Berekum Arsenals suffered another defeat after losing 1-2 to Nkoranza Warriors. Kwasi Ofosu scored twice for the Warriors with his 4th and 5th goals of the season. PrinceBall Mensah bagged the consolation for Berekum Arsenal in the 90th minute.

At the Ejisu Okese Park, Pacific Heroes were held in a 1-1 stalemate by Nzema Kotoko. Frank Agyemang scored for Pacific Heroes before Peter Ernest equalised for Nzema Kotoko in the 90th minute.

New Edubiase United were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Nations FC at the Len Clay Stadium.


In Zone 3, Liberty Professionals were held in a 0-0 draw by visiting Nania FC at the Fred Crenstil Park, while A5 Rences also played a goalless draw with Uncle T United at the Tema Sports Stadium.

The match between Na God FC and Krystal Palace at the El-Wak Stadium has been rescheduled from Saturday, October 22, to Monday, October 24, 2022.


The rest of the matches in all the zones will be played on Sunday.
