Asante Kotoko defeated rivals Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Cameroonian import Frank Mbella Etouga scored the only goal on the day through the spot.

Ashanti Gold whitewashed WAFA 6-0 on Saturday in Obuasi. Forward Yaw Annor bagged a hat-trick.
