2021/22 DOL week 29 results & standings; Kotoku Royals beat Uncle T, Nania hold Tema Youth as Tamale City and Nsoatreman pick wins

A game more to end the 2021/22 football season and things are beginning to heat up in the Division One League.

In Zone One, Bismark Asare scored the only goal of the game to earn Tamale City a 1-0 win against Mighty Royals. Nsoatreman defeated Berekum Arsenal 3-1 to keep their promotion hopes alive. Baffour Academy and Young Apostles played a scoreless draw. B.A United thrashed Bolga All Stars, 5-1.

Nkoranza Warriors pipped Unity FC, 1-0. Steadfast were 3-2 home winners against Young Apostles. In the Wa derby, Wa Suntaa defeated Wa Yassin 2-0. The game between Bofoakwa Tano and Dreams Tamale didn’t come after Dreams Tamale failed to show up.

In Zone Two, Future Stars held Samartex to a scoreless draw. Soccer Intellectuals recorded a 2-0 away win against New Edubiase. Swedru All Blacks defeated Unistar Academy by a lone goal. Wassaman edged Nzema Kotoko away from home, 2-0.

Nicholas Zakli and Anthony Quainoo scored to earn Sekondi Hasaacas a 2-0 home win against Achiken. Ebusua Dwarfs were as well 2-0 home winners against Skyy. At the Ejisu Okese Park, Asokwa Deportivo beat Pacific Heroes 2-0. The game between Holy Stars and BYF Academy will be played on Monday.

In Zone Three, Kotoku Royals kept their promotion hopes alive with a 1-0 away win against Uncle T. Nine-man Tema Youth displayed a resilient performance to play a scoreless draw against Nania. Mighty Jets and Susubiribi played a 1-1 draw. Krystal Palace kept their survival hopes alive with a 2-1 home win against Golden Kicks.

Gordon Akaminko scored the only goal of the game to earn Heart of Lions 1-0 win against Inter Allies. It rained goals in Dawu as Akatsi All Stars defeated Vision 5-4. Accra City Stars scored three second half goals to beat Kwaebibirem United 3-0. The game between Liberty Professionals and Accra Young Wise was rained off and will be played on Monday morning.
