2020/21 GPL: Match Report: Medeama beat Eleven Wonders to go second on the league table

Medeama SC have moved to second spot on the Ghana Premier League table after beating Techiman Eleven Wonders 2-0 Wednesday afternoon.

The Yellow and Mauve side endured a difficult start to the 2020/2021 campaign but are gradually picking up their rhythm.

Two goals one in each half by returnee Prince Opoku Agyemang and Joseph Tetteh Zutah handed the hosts all three points in the match-day 16 encounter at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

On the matchday, coach Samuel Boadu’s team excelled as they controlled the game for the most parts of the 90 minutes.

The win sees Medeama SC moving to second temporarily on the Ghana Premier League table and just two points behind the team in the first position Karela United who are on 28 points.
