Ebusua Dwarfs FC piped Inter Allies FC 1-0 on Thursday afternoon to boost their survival hope alive at the Cape Coast stadium in the Ghana Premier League match-day 30 encounter.
George Asamoah scored the game’s only goal in the first half to hand the home side the all-important victory over bottom-placed Inter Allies.
Asamoah scored a fantastic goal from outside the box as he unleashed into the top left corner a left-footed strike to put Dwarfs in the lead.
The home team created numerous chances but failed to make good use of it and ended the first half with one-goal l advantage.
Dwarfs were awarded spot-kickck in the second half but captain Dennis Nkrumah Korsah’s effort was saved by Allies goalie, Gideon Ahenkorah who produced a superb save to deny the hosts a second.
The home team continued dominating the game but Allies looked threatened on one or two occasions but failed to trouble the Yellow and Greens.
Dwarfs created a lot of good chances but failed to add to their tally as they ended the game with a narrow 1-0 score line to climb to 13th on the league table.
