2020/21 GPL: Match Report: Diawisie Taylor nets 15th goal of the season as Karela hold Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea and Karela United played out a 1-1 stalemate on matchday 26 of the the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League at the Golden City on Sunday afternoon.

The two goals came in the second half after a scoreless first half in which the two teams failed to convert the few chances that they created.

Leading top scorer of the league Diawisie Taylor opened the scoring on the afternoon with his 15th goal of the season in the 56th minute.

But Chelsea recovered 13 minutes later with Stephen Amankonah scoring the equaliser from the spot.

Both sides could not score again as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

The result leaves Chelsea in 13th place and four points above the relegation zone while Karela United have dropped out of the top four.
