The Tunisian top-flight league giants have reportedly expressed interest in signing the budding talented full-back.
Asante Kotoko SC defender Christopher Nettey is courting interest from Tunisian giants Esperance in the ongoing transfer window.
According to myfabulousonline.com, the North African club have tabled a $200,000 bid for the 22-year-old over a possible acquisition this summer.
Nettey who joined the Porcupine Warriors from lower-tier side Attram De Visser Academy in December 2019 is set to leave the club for free due to an unpaid signing-on fee. He was signed on a three-year deal worth $35,000 but the erstwhile Management of Asante Kotoko could not pay a penny to the player as well as the former team.
The 22-year-old is currently not part of the Asante Kotoko that have commenced preparations for the upcoming season following an unpaid signing-on fee. He made 13 appearances for Asante Kotoko and won three NASCO man of the match awards in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season which was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
His departure will affect the Kumasi-based club immensely with only Samuel Frimpong left for the right-back position after Augustine Sefah was released following the expiration of his contract.
