Swiss Super League giants, FC Luzern (FCL) have announced the acquisition of Ghanaian attacking midfielder Samuel Alabi.
The 20-year-old playmaker has been signed from Israeli giants Ashdod FC where he spent just one season after arriving from Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC in 2019.
Alabi, who fits well in various offensive positions, put pen to paper on a four-year contract which will run until June 30, 2024.
“We have been watching Samuel for a long time.
“He is an interesting young player who convinced us above all with his ability to have a significant impact on the game on the offensive.
“We are sure that he will be a great asset to us in the years to come,” FCL sports director Remo Meyer said the contract signing.
Samuel Alabi is, however, unable to join his new teammates in training immediately as he has to undergo a mandatory 8-day quarantine due to COVIDE-19 preventive measures in Switzerland.
