Coach Otto Addo is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to bring on board tried and tested players to the Black Stars team for the 2026 global showpiece in USA, Canada and Mexico.
It has left with about five months to set the ball rolling at the much awaited FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars are drawn in Group I against Panama, England and Croatia. It looks a daunting task for the Black Stars who will be making their fifth appearance at the world cup.
As such the leadership of the Ghana Football and their coaches are putting in much effort to raise a standard team that can withstand any opposition.
Coach Otto Addo who obviously has the greater responsibility on his shoulders is moving around globally to scout the best players.
The coach was at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg to watch the Europa League match between Red Bull Salzburg and FC Basel.
Two Ghanaian stars played actively in that exciting game. Edmund Baidoo featured for Red Bull Salzburg while Jonas Adjei Adjetey dazzled for FC Basel.
Jonas Adjetey played the entire match for Basel. Edmund Baidoo enjoyed 90th minutes for Salzburg before he was substituted by Karim Konate.
Edmund Baidoo and his Red Bull Salzburg triumphed 3-1. Coach Otto Addo was highly impressed with the output of both players and urged them to give out their all in the remaining games.
