OFFICIAL: Asante Kotoko part ways with centre back Joseph Ablorh

Joseph Ablorh has mutually parted ways with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

His departure brings an end to his stay with the Porcupine Warriors, having joined them in July 2024 on a two-year deal from Guinea outfit Hafia FC , during which he featured in domestic and continental competitions.

Kotoko, however, failed to outline the reasons behind its decision despite having six months left with his contract, but wished the player well.

A club statement on Tuesday resds; ““Asante Kotoko SC and defender Joseph Ablorh have parted ways with immediate effect. The club has taken this decision in the best interest of the club. We wish him well elsewhere”.

Ablorh was part of the team that won the MTN FA Cup last season and played a role in their Africa campaign.

He made nine appearances for the Reds in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
