Milo will fail; he is only here for money – JE Sarpong

Veteran coach Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong believes that newly-appointed Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac will be a failure in his second stint.

The Serbian was officially named as head coach of the Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars on Friday, September 24 in Accra.
The 67-year-old – who led the country to a CHAN final, an Africa Cup of Nations final and a 2010 World Cup quarterfinal berth during his first stint – returns after almost 11 years, replacing local man CK Akonnor who was sacked over a week ago.
Rajevac has accepted the Ghana job with the task of winning the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and securing qualification to the Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup
But outspoken JE Sarpong has predicted doom for the gaffer. Speaking in an interview with Luv FM in Kumasi, the former Ebusua Dwarfs coach expectedly criticised the second appointment of Milovan Rajevac.
According to him, Rajevac has nothing positive to offer and that he is only in the West African country this time to make money.
He said, “He ‘Milovan Rajevac’ can’t do anything. He will be a failure. He is only coming to make money and go.”
The hierarchy of the Ghana FA named Dortmund’s Talent and Development coach Otto Addo as his first assistant and Maxwell Konadu as his second assistant trainer.
