Asante Kotoko right-back Samuel Frimpong is set to join Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal, according to our sources.
Frimpong, 24, enjoyed limited time at Kotoko due to the presence of Christopher Nettey.
Frimpong signed a two-year contract extension with the Reds a few months ago but failed to beat off the competition from Christopher Nettey at the right-back position last season.
New coach of the club, Dr. Proper Narteh Ogum has decided to send Frimpong on loan to get enough playing time and continue to build himself following the arrival of Medeama defender Samuel Appiah.
According to the report, Frimpong met the hierarchy of King Faisal on Thursday to complete his loan move
Samuel Frimpong joined Kotoko from division one side Bekwai Youth Academy before the club loaned him out to Karela United during the truncated premier league season.
