INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY: Japan 6-0 Ghana – The Samurai of Japan Reduce The Black Meteors of Ghana To The Level Of Toothless Bulldogs

Ghana’s Olympic team were reduced to a level of a toothless bulldogs by the Japanese U-24 team in an International friendly this afternoon.
Ghana U-23 team, the Black Meteors were humiliated by their Japanese Counterparts in an international friendly this afternoon at the Best Denki stadium in Fukuoka, Japan.
As the two teams engaged in a series warm up exercises before the game commenced, both sides looked promising until the center referee whistled for a kick-off.
The host who were dominant in the early minutes of the game took the lead through Somayuki on the 15th minute.
Dangerous Japan went ahead to score the second on the 31st courtesy Takefusa Kubo at the expense of their foes, who were relatively finding it difficult to hold Japan.
Unfortunately for the meteors, Frank Assinki scored an own goal on the stroke of the half time – An attempt by Assinki to prevent the ball from kissing the net.
In the second half, the Asians played and dominated to the extent that their African side lost control and possession of the game.
Somayuki increased the tally for the Asians on the 48th minute, before Ayase Ueda added the fifth for the hosts on the 55th minute, ten minutes into the second half after Japan had taken over the control of the game.
As the game was approaching the end, Kaoru Mitoma scored on the die embers of the game to worsen the wounds of the meteors – Mitoma scored on the 89th minute before the entire proceedings ended at the Best Denki stadium in Fukuoka.
The Game subsequently came to an end with the Samurai of Japan thrashing the Black Meteors of Ghana by 6-0.
However, Ghana will play Japan for the second time on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 before the Meteors travel to South Korea to play two games against South Korea Olympic team in an international friendly.
