Following a challenging 2022/23 season, Hearts of Oak FC has reached out to highly respected football scout Roy Arthur for the vacant position of Sporting Director at the club.
The club’s management has faced mounting pressure after a tumultuous season where the Rainbow club narrowly avoided relegation until the final game.
Disappointed fans of the club have expressed their dissatisfaction with the executive hierarchy led by Alhaji Braimah and Vincent Odotei, particularly regarding their poor recruitment strategies in recent years.
Seeking a fresh direction for the club, supporters have strongly advocated for Roy Arthur, the former CEO of Ashantigold and B.A United, and the current Sporting Director of Legon Cities. Recognizing his expertise, Hearts of Oak has officially approached him for his services.
With nearly two decades of experience as a football scout, intermediary, and head of sporting projects for various clubs and academies in Ghana and Europe, Roy Arthur brings extensive knowledge to the table.
His expertise spans scouting, recruitment, transfers, and club administration, making him a well-rounded candidate for the Sporting Director role at Hearts of Oak.
