‘He pocketed Moses Simon’ – Ghanaians react to Dennis Odoi’s outstanding Black Stars debut against Nigeria

33 years old Dennis Odoi is the man of the moment after his outstanding display in his Ghana debut in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff game against Nigeria.
The Black Stars played a pulsating draw against the Super Green Eagles in front of over 40,000 spectators at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday night.
The Club Brugge defender was invited to represent Ghana for the first time and has already proven his expertise and adaptability during the game.
The former Fulham star was born in Belgium to a Belgian mother and a Ghanaian father making him eligible to represent the West African country.
Odoi has previously represented Belgium at the U20 and U21 levels and also at the senior level but has now switched to play for the Ghana.
Odoi in the World Cup playoff game lasted the entire duration, but the highlight of the game was how he held his own against the in form Moses Simon on the right side.
His performance has earned him praises on Social Media, with many claiming he pocketed the Nantes star.
