In their bid to ensure that the Black Stars trip to the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup will be fruitful and second to none, GFA President, Kurt Okraku and his crew who went for the world cup draw are putting in place the necessary measures in USA.

“I paid a working visit to Destination DC as part of efforts to explore areas of mutual interest and strategic collaboration ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be staged in the United States, Canada, and Mexico”

‘With preparations now accelerating, the Football Association is seeking global partnerships that can enhance Ghana’s presence, visibility and operational readiness during the global showpiece next summer”.

The Ghana Football Association President posted this on his facebook wall some days after the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw.

When Footydreamsgh visited the GFA’s headquarters on Thursday, December 11, 2025, we gathered that the FA’s President, General Secretary and some other members who attended the world cup draw were still not back from USA.
