Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in his side’s 1-0 victory. Over Ebusua Dwarfs in a match week, 7 outstanding fixture played on Wenedsday, January 20, 2021.
The Black Stars defender scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute from a Patrick Asmah well-delivered free-kick.
Nettey headed home the opener as Asmah’s cross eluded everyone in the box but the former Attram de Vissier academy player who was left alone unmarked at the far post.
His solitary strike which secured the full points for the Porcupine Warriors is his first of the season.
It is the first time he is picking the award this season.
