Aduana Stars has expressed their dissatisfaction that none of their players make the Black Stars’ preliminary team despite their domination in Ghana Premier League.
Eleven players on Chris Hughton’s 55-man squad are from the local league; five of them are from Medeama and include Jonathan Sowah, Nurudeen Abdulai, and Abdul Fatawu Hamidu.

Oppong highlights Aduana Stars’ outstanding play, pointing out that they are dominating the Ghana Premier League standings with 27 points from 15 games, and that their striker, Isaac Mintah, has scored nine goals to lead the league.
Citing Aduana’s outstanding performance in Ghanaian football, Oppong seeks an explanation from Chris Hughton for the absence.
“We demand explanation from Chris Hughton for not naming any of our players in his provisional squad. We have won more matches than any club in Ghana. We have more goals than any club,” he added.
