Asante Kotoko SACK Maxwell Konadu

The management of the Porcupine Warriors have announced the departure of their head coach following their poor output in the ongoing season.

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have terminated their contract with Coach Maxwell Konadu with an immediate effect. The decision of his sacking comes following their shocking 1-0 home loss to Great Olympics on Thursday.

 The club’s official statement reads “Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club wishes to inform the general public that it has decided to part ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu as its Head Coach with immediate effect.” Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to lead the team in the interim.
